Uncover the transformative potential of digital and mobile solutions for your industry.
Service bookings relied on manual interactions. Service status updates required calls to dealerships. Payments happened outside the digital experience. Vehicle recalls, maintenance reminders, and health alerts were fragmented across channels.
A multi‑brand automotive group, EKKANOO, operating Toyota Bahrain, Lexus Bahrain, and Motorcity dealerships, managing sales, service, and customer support across dozens of locations, with vehicle, customer, and business data distributed across multiple enterprise systems.
Service booking, payments, vehicle health alerts, recall campaigns, and roadside assistance all lived in separate manual or semi‑digital workflows. Customer and vehicle data needed to sync in real time with Salesforce and Oracle ERP. Connected‑vehicle events from TMC/Toyota Bahrain/Lexus Bahrain Future Connect had to be received and processed into timely customer alerts and actions. And every one of these journeys had to work consistently across three dealership brands at once.
We architected a Java‑based backend as the central integration and business‑logic layer, built a React Native mobile app as the single customer‑facing surface, and stood up a React CMS for operational management. An event‑driven architecture processes vehicle and service events, from work‑in‑progress to washing to ready‑for‑delivery, and turns them into near real‑time customer notifications instead of manual follow‑up. PostgreSQL anchors the data layer, while synchronization with Salesforce and Oracle ERP keeps customer‑facing journeys grounded in current enterprise data.
Every module, from recall management to eCare vehicle health monitoring, plugs into the same event pipeline and the same enterprise data sources, so a customer's experience stays consistent whether they're booking a service, requesting roadside assistance, or getting notified about an open recall.
Bringing EKKANOO's dealership operations onto a connected digital platform meant balancing enterprise‑grade integration with a consistent customer experience. From backend architecture to event processing, every layer was engineered to keep operations running on the same connected foundation.
The backend handles customer and vehicle data processing, service booking workflows, payment‑related processing, and every third‑party integration, giving the platform one consistent source of business logic.
Vehicle health issues, connected‑vehicle events, service status changes, and delivery milestones flow through configured event channels, triggering backend processing and near real‑time customer notifications instead of requiring customers to check in manually.
Salesforce and Oracle ERP integrations keep customer and vehicle information synchronized across systems, so journeys in the app are based on the latest available data.
TMC/Toyota Bahrain/Lexus Bahrain Future Connect integration and the eCare functionality let the platform move beyond scheduled servicing into proactive vehicle health monitoring; surfacing serious issues, notifying customers, connecting them to TMC Connect/support, and routing them into a service journey where applicable.
A single mobile application architecture delivers vehicle information, service booking, payments, service tracking, recall information, vehicle health alerts, test‑drive booking, quote requests, and roadside assistance consistently across all three dealership brands.
A dedicated CMS, built using React, gives EKKANOO's team an administrative interface to manage application functionality and configured business processes. It operates alongside the customer‑facing mobile experience, while live synchronization with Salesforce and Oracle ERP keeps it current across Toyota Bahrain, Lexus Bahrain, and Motorcity. TechAhead continues to maintain and support the platform as EKKANOO's business scales.
From service booking to roadside assistance, we build and maintain the platforms that keep automotive customers connected.
